I can't WAIT!
I dearly hope they get Ben Stiller to play the lead role, he is such a talented actor. Also Jennifer Aniston would be excellent as a corpse.

lol will never happen. The movie while extremely beautiful is waaaaaaaay too morbid for the general hollywood public.

"The thing" is a remake??? I take my words back then...

Cronenberg's The Fly is also pretty cool. (It's on TV here at the moment)

Cronenberg makes films exactly like this, and the other Tsukamoto film ive sen , tetsu: body=machine, what then constitutes humanity etc. so he would be an ideal director to re-make it, but remaking films for 'western' audiences (or vice-versa) is the most patronising and disgusting aspect of film history. So heres hoping not.

Lol you really scared me with the topic title, was all ready to type an angry rant about hollywood butchering foreign films until I saw it was a cruel joke .. thankfully :O
