Can someone help explain...

Well, the whole movie. Me and my sister tried to watch it, and in the end, skipped 5 chapters in order to get to the end of that godforsaken movie xP Any information about the whole plot and ending of this movie would be greatly appreciated

You want someone to tell you what a movie you couldn't be bothered to watch for yourself is all about? You gotta be kidding me? Just watch it and form your own opinions.

You missed the best part!!! *SPOILERS* After the long haired guy dissected his dead girlfriend's body, he discovered she was really a robot. And so when he went to his new girlfriend, his med school classmate with the cute bangs, he found out that she, too, was a robot, sent to assassinate anyone who discovered the secret. That was why she killed the Med School biochemistry professor, not because they had an affair when she was in high school, but because he had discovered the secret of the evil assassin robots. Hence, the main character kept remembering bits of dreams about robots from outer space.

Anyway, he had a big battle with the sexy assassin robot and they each ended up strangling one another to death. I can't believe you skipped it!

"Enough of that technical talk, Foo!"

You forgot about the part when Mothra showed up. That was good.

I suggest you stick to American Pie and save yourself from disgraceful humiliation like this.

It was about guilt due to uncontrollable circumstances. I think.

Don't know why everyone is insulting the OP, it's a legit question. It's not like you miss any real plot by skipping chapters, just some average cinematography and some below average acting performances. This movie wasn't trying to make you think, it was just excessively full of itself and was dropping in stuff it thought would look cool. The dialogue is non-existent with most of it consisting of a bunch of 'oy' and 'what's wrong?', and in the end we're left feeling nothing for the characters. A movie about guilt done in a pretentious way that leaves the audience asking 'why did i watch this?' Hardly a reason to insult someones intelligence.

Stupidity isn't a virus...but it sure is spreading like one.

Also, with this being a Shinya Tsukamoto film and it having an 18 certificate in the UK, not to mention having the lead who was in "Ichi the Killer", I kind of expected and thought that the story would go into the direction of something like the notorious short film "Aftermath" (1994) and may perhaps involve the theme of necrophilia but it turns out it goes into another surreal direction.
