This movie was pointless. How many times did Rooster get shot and still survive? Why did the crowd calm down when Rooster came on stage his song sucked! The movie was hard to get into, the best part was Macey Gray. A total wast of my time, but I love the fact that black actors were getting paid.

A lot of shots were fired at Rooster,only one hit him in the chest but was halted by the small bible in his inside pocket, that's how he survived.
