other good GC games?

i love tos and i was wondering if there were any gc rpg's i missed over the years. it's a lot like starocean 2 (rena+claude) for the ps1 in fighting style. SO2 was one of my favorite games in the 1990s (except the incessant need to level up once you got to world 2 and the four caves...) oh and for the record i hated s03. it didnt hold a candle to tos or so2.
does anyone want to share some games similar to TOS in gameplay and story structure, controls, etc?

much appreciated since i'm poor and stuck with last-gen games to choose from. :/

afterthought:
i miss my ps1... sony sucks at making machines that actually last.

maybe i'm just rambling but i am in fact hoping for some useful information

If you are a Mega Man fan, you can try "Mega Man X: Command Mission". I was never able to get into the game though, but I plan to give it another chance eventually.

Skies of Arcadia is definitely the best after ToS.

Evolution Worlds is okay as well, but very repetitive as it's a dungeon crawler.
