Just started replaying

Just started a New Game+ via my Wii, always intended to come back to ToS after playing a few years ago on my GC, forgot how much fun the battles are. They are harder than I remember, though, with a few of my characters getting KO'd mid-battle (unless I'm just rusty...)

Enjoying the tech effects again. Even though this game is over five years old it still looks great. Can't wait to get Colette's Holy Song and Raine's Resurrection again - my two fave techs (visually). I remembered the multicoloured "glass umbrella" for the latter looked great.

Played a bit more last night, did the Asgard Seal so Colette now has Holy Song. The weird thing was that the very first time I cast it, Colette actually cast Holy Judgement, despite not having yet learnt Judgement at this point in the story.

I can only think that it did this because I carried over my tech usage from my first play through to make the New Game+ a bit less tedious. I guess this means that the game thinks I have already cast Judgement however many times I did in my first play through, despite not having learnt it yet second time round. Bit of a glitch there methinks - if I haven't learnt the tech yet then I shouldn't be able to use it (or aspects of it), regardless of what I did in a previous play through.

Yeah, my gamecube broke down about 2 years ago and I sold it but kept my memory card. I just brought a Wii and Tales of symphonia about 2 weeks ago. I forgot how much I enjyed that game and the story line. That has got to be one of my favourite games(Top 5), and I hope that the sequel is as good or better! I'm so glad they decided to make a sequel, I just wish Lloyd would end up with Sheena!

I am wondering how the battle system will work on the Wii. The one in ToS is almost perfect inasfar as it never gets too confusing no matter how manic the battles are. I hope that they don't break it by gimmicky use of the remote.

I just dropped in here to state my amusement with Kratos' ending. I just thought it was hilarious because of a single plot hole there.

Kratos: I must leave with Derris-Kharlan so that no more Cruxis angels remain.
Lloyd: Okay, bye.
*Kratos leaves*
Lloyd: Wait! You forgot about...Yuan. Damn.
Yuan: Muwahahaha! I will never be gone! * give everyone the finger and then struts off with his Renegades behind him*

Yuan stays behind to act as a guardian for the reborn world tree.
