Why did this bomb?

i still think it's a pretty entertaining flick
f*** the critics

It bombed because it never elevated itself above a stupid internet meme for neckbeards. When I saw the movie, I was so disappointed at how much of it was obviously playing to neckbeards who had spent months posting Photoshops and writing fake dialogue.

Just a silly movie, with a silly concept. Maybe they should have done with a straight comedy instead of action / thriller / suspense
