I just watched the region four DVD release. I found it quite watchable and interesting, though the end was extremely sudden and I felt there should have been more. IMDB lists the running time at 75 mins. Other user comments put it at around 100 mins (or did it just feel this long to you?). The DVD box cover says the run time is 85 mins. The actual movie on the disc is 71 minutes including credits. Am I missing something here?

shareIt is currently 1:45 AM and I am very dissapointed. I could have been asleep. I felt like it was interesting how this character felt so real and it seemed more like a documentry. But then it got to the end and I was like WTF I cant believe this, there has to be a real ending. I anyone actually understood it, let me know. But so far it looks like we are all confused and dissapointed.
shareI watched "Room" last night on the Sundance cable channel. The information from Sundance said the movie was one hour and 23 minutes long (83 minutes). "Room" came on at 6:00 p.m. and ended at 7:10 p.m. (70 minutes).
I agree with all of you, that the end didn't have a real ending. It made me wonder, "Was the last 10 minutes edited out of the movie for some strange reason?"
