Was Dolly / Stokard Channing's character blind?

I don't know why, but I got the impression that she was blind. She spent the whole movie staring off into the distance.

She seemed to use her computer fine with out any assistance.

Omg, yes!! LOL
Especially noticeable in the scene where Sarah's father is asking Sarah to take Dolly home.

I know she wasn't, but I had the same thought.
