True Lies Secret Joke

I just "kinda" noticed this. In the movie when Tom Arnold talks with Arnold and Jamie Lee, Jamie tells Arnold to say "I'll be back," he says "ok, no, ok, no," and they keep going back and forth. To me, this means how many times Arnold has said he would be back, and then not back for True Lies 2. I think it was kinda like an inside joke for the fans. Anyone agree?

or it is an inside joke on Arnold's famous "I'll be back." line from The Terminator series.

Actually I think running man was the first movie he said "I'll Be Back" in.

No, first time in Terminator (1984) and after Terminator in many of his other films, e.g. Running Man or Commando

he ment in a way that there will be no more turning back.....especially when jamie tells him youre old.....

As a matter of fact The Kid and I was Arnold's last cameo & role as well.....

it was most likely a combination of being a joke about "I'll be back" being one of his catchphrases since The Terminator and also that this was his last film and he may not have plans for any more.
