Does anyone know if the casting is all finished for this movie?
shareNo, it's not. I'm going in for a callback audition tomorrow morning.
I believe they are getting close to the final stages of casting though. So if you haven't been sent out for this yet, call your agent ASAP and see if they can get you in.

Go to www.utahextras.com and register with them. They do all the major extras casting.
Another great resource is www.jeffjohnsoncasting.com and www.jminc.com (I think both will just link you to the utah extras' page though.
I'm sure they'd love to have you as an extra.

shareI agree! Don't ever let an agency make you pay them if you are doing extra work! Even if they are getting you speaking roles...they cannot ethically take more than 10 percent on union work and 15 percent on non-union work.
Do your homework before shopping for an agent.
I recommend this book:
Acting Across America by Catrine McGregor
She used to be a local casting director that moved to the Carolinas a few years back. I think the book is very informative and accurate.
I'm excited for this project. It's looking really good!
I'm sad to hear that UtahExtras.com is going to charge people to be registered. I haven't been to the site...but I'd heard they were the best place to go for extra work.
