Is it Good in the film?

His English may not be perfect, but it's comprehensible.

Good to know. Its quite difficult going from Manderin to English.

His English was appropriate for his role. I was disappointed that the DVD did not have English subtitles though. I have an older TV so I watch most movies with subtitles and I notice things I would have missed otherwise. A few DVD's even include subtitles for background dialogue which I'm sure no one would have been aware of otherwise.
