How was this not a Robert Rodriguez movie??

LOL That is exactly what I came her to write! Nothing against the directors as I am a fan of their other works but they just did not seem to be as much into the material as the cast appeared to be. If Robert directed, this may have been a classic! It still is a fun movie, though.
