A list of weapons that should be banned

OK. I've decided to start a thread to see what weapons exist in this country that ought to be banned. You see, a gun is just one vessel used to kill people. Since we need to ban guns, that means other weapons will be used. I will make a list of weapons that can kill people which I believe should be banned. If you see something I miss, please add it to this thread.

guns
knives
forks
baseballs
bats
bread (the bag it's in can be used to suffocate somebody)
canned foods (the removed top is very sharp)
cars (one of the highest causes of death)
TV's (nothing like a good bash on the head with a boob-tube)
pencils (oldie but goodie, the pencil stabbing)
hairspray (can be lit to create a torch)

well, that's all I can think of right now. (actually, I can think of many more, but I don't want to ruin the fun for you all). Nonetheless, we are here to start the revolution of peace. No more weapons in the hands of our criminals.

BTW, I have no idea what this movie even is. I just happened upon it trying to see if Linda Cardellini gets naked in it. She's hot. So if she does, due tell.

Heh, you're funny. No naked Linda, sorry.

reply

Ah well, thanks for the warning though. I just need to stick with the brief nudity of the terrible Strangeland. blah

this movie was apparently so bad that NO ONE is hitting up these boards. Good thing I have never seen it

The movie is two years old. There was activity when it first came out and again when it first hit cable. But nobody can talk about the movie itself. All we've done is debate gun issues, which is actually quite tiresome. That's the main reason nobody really posts here.

All weapons that are designed to be weapson should be banned. Finger nail clippers don't count.

American Gun - 9/10

weapon, as defined by the MacBook Pro dictionary is:

weapon |ˈwepən|
noun
a thing designed or used for inflicting bodily harm or physical damage

Therefore, fingernail clippers, which are designed specifically to do damage and harm to one's fingernails, which are a part of the body, are considered weapons. As such, we must ban all fingernail clippers.

what about soap? remember in 'full metal jacket' when they beat private pyle with pars of soap inside of socks? ban soap!

reply

My first thought was that soap should not be banned, since Pyle was not killed; therefore, it is not a weapon. Then I looked at the very definition of weapon, which I posted, and realized that soap does in fact fall into the category of weapon since it was used to inflict "physical harm."

Still haven't seen this movie, and still am disappointed that Linda is not nekkid.
