... 'Party' wasn't the final episode?

I think it's a really great episode and it seems like such a perfect send off to the show. So many of the characters return, Howard and Vince finally kiss, and it ends with a grin-inducing musical number on a bouncy castle.

Yet it's followed by 'The Chokes' which isn't a great episode, and doesn't feel like any kind of a finale.

It's such a minor thing but it has always irked me a little. Am I the only one?

I agree with you. I didn't think much of The Chokes. It wasn't a great episode and certainly not fitting as a final episode for such a great series. There was more harmony at the end of Party. I suggest we just pretend Party was the finale.

Good point! The Chokes had some great bits, but would be low on my list if I had to rank all the episodes. Party is one of the lower-stakes storylines but feels like a nice sendoff.
