No keys.... ever

How many times can they do the same "where's the keys, omg, omg, aghhh" routine? We get it. None of the cars ever have keys in them. Why doesn't this stop being a surprise to the characters after the 3rd or 4th time? This got so irritating. Poor writing too - come up with something different.
