The ratio of people to cake is too big.
If the shocked/captured dame-duo had even a smidgen of wherewithal, eg: resourcefulness to kill the sonofabitch b4 escaping w/their lives intact, well, that woulda ended this cinematic masterpiece nearly 1/2way thru! Not 2mention- leaving Uncle Michael, er...Mr.Mick, in one piece & alive assured 'fan(s)' of that incredibly anticipated sequel.

You can't use "If they followed logic the plot would die" as an argument FOR the movie. It's the plot's job to avoid these kinds of "JUST *beep* DO IT!" moments.

The girls being in shock thought he was fatally wounded but he arose on the third minute to provide more torment and a longer movie.

The entire scene should have been rewritten. I didn't think the ending was that good either.... they get to a hill... then somehow get to the car garage.... The film had SO much potential... Mick was a great villain, and the first scene in the torture shed was legitimately terrifying.... but I think the second one was better.
Hopefully there is a third and it ROCKS
