Scapegoating and Love

The film explores well scapegoating, especially as it stands in politics and military, in the attempt to subdue international scandals. While common in Soviet Union political scapegoating is not uncommon in US. For example in the prisoner-abuse scandal in Iraq, soldiers were punished and a general who theoretically, but not effectively, was in charge of the prison was demoted. While the real master-minders of “torture policy” retain their positions and even get promoted.

The movie also goes into the love and marriage issue. As the driver's lover said “Men sleep based on love, and marry based on reckoning.” Of course that's nothing new, though it's more common among women rather men.
