Ending

Not sure where you missed it from, or if you still care, but just in case...

She found the bracelet of the dead girl in the old warehouse, as proof she had been there (picking it up and holding it - has she never watched CSI!?). The cop goes to the mechanics (main suspect) place and asks him if he's got something he wants to say, before following him in and shooting him (we stay outside and don't see it). All seems good, life back to normal but then she gets another vision of the victim tearing a page out of the diary. She figures out that the missing page said 'It's Burke!' (the name of the cop).

The cop turns up looking for something he left behind, before letting on that he knows she knows its him. He gets ready to kill her, saying that he had to kill the other woman as she threatened to tell that he had raped her. The mechanic comes in while the cop is distracted, half dead, and attacks the cop. She hits the cop, gets a gun on him, calls the police/ambulance, and the credits roll. Much to the relief of everyone who sat through this guff.
