That's what I've noticed with my Sarah-half-stalking:
Nobody over the age of 12 or 13 considers her "hot". Everybody over that age considers her to be "really, really cute". But not "hot".

i met her in person a few weeks ago, and i dont think she was wearing any make up, and she looked A LOT younger than she does on red carpets and stuff

First of all, the majority of us are around Sarah's age. And yes, we do feel better. But not necessarily about ourselves. Contrary to popular belief, most fangirls have perfectly fine lives and have no serious issues.
