the same kid? LOL! I just figured that out coming here. Amazing, he certainly is a good actor because I had no idea.

I watched it with my best friend and his family, and he asked if that was the same actor. I honestly didn't think it was, but when the credits rolled, I was shocked to see that it was indeed Freddie Highmore playing them both. He did do a great job of pulling the two brothers off.

I think fans of Freddie Highmore were aware that he played both roles. But the fact that a lot people weren't aware shows just how good an actor Freddie Highmore is.

I thought the were twins in real life and then I saw both roles credited to Fred Highmore and I realised he played both parts. Kudos!

I also thougth they were different boys. I was surprised to see that it was just one. He did a great job! But Freddie Highmore was way better in August Rush, what a fantastic movie!

hmmm seemed obvious to me... i was hoping for a twist to make one of the brothers not real so that there was at least a point to having twins

Fooled me and I'm 54 years old. I just thought they cast two boys who were very alike and they dressed them different. My husband and I watched this the first time and the DVD was defective. We got another one from WalMart and rewatched from the beginning. When we were halfway through on the second viewing my husband questioned was the boy playing two parts? I thought one looked taller than the other one!

i picked it up the first time they were standing side by side it just seemed obvious. if you see them standing next to each other you can tell. even when you see them face to face you can tell.
