Why??

Why did they bleep out brands like Versace and Universal Studios? What does this mean?

So they wouldn't get sued for copyright infringement.

It is also funnier.

I found it to be rather annoying.

Right.

Its like Jimmy Kimmel's Unnecessary Censorship

or

in Kill Bill V1 when they kept bleeping "The Bride's" name.

For comedic effect,they're all fakes...you know,...for kids?!

I liked it too.
For some reason it was pretty funny:P

I thought it was funny, too. Does anyone know for sure if they were forced to do it (copyright laws)? I thought it was deliberate.

In the Hideaki Anno flick Love & Pop, they bleeped out all references to "Captain Io" because that's a Walt Disney trademark. It got a little annoying there during dramatic scenes. But in a comedy like this, it's funny.

It thought it was hilarious. Also, didn't her father get in trouble for selling the stuff? I thought they were going off of that.
