I just filmed a few scenes as an extra today. I'm in the first row of one boxing match, the second row in another, and way in the bleachers for a third. I just went through an extras agency.

shareA couple of guys punched each other a lot. Then another two guys came out and punched each other a lot. Josh Hartnett watched. That's about it.

hi crayonyou - i was an extra here but only the day before josh came BUT my friend was there the next day and she said this :
"me and two other girls were sitting in the chairs in front of the boxing rink where Josh Hartnett was standing. He was standing right infront of us... I could kick him thats how close I was. Me and the two other girls were talking about him and how he has such a cute little ass and about the movies he was in and such. Apperently he was listening to what we were saying and truned around and laughed at us saying "Hey girls, hows it going?". We were all like "Hi Josh, we were just talking about you", he was like "I know" and he laughed. He has such a cute little laugh. You could tell he likes all the girls falling all over him. He seems like such a little flirt. It was so cool... hes such a cutie. We saw Samual L Jackson to... he didnt say anything to anyone tho... but I saw him to. Im one scene Im sitting right behind Josh :):)"
I thought it was pretty cool that he talked to the lowly extras =)

So are you working on the set again or was that your one day as an extra? Btw... what's the news on Josh's hair; it was pretty long before he started filming; did he get it cut? And clothes; what is his character's style?! (If you get chance to find out, or... see him!)

sharehe had longer hair then he usually does. looks so different in person. at least i thought that anyway. but the really shocker was samuel l jackson. obviously hes playing a homeless person, so they made him look so creepy. he has long dreads and talks like a cracked out homeless guy. soo cool to see both of them. jackson wasnt in to many scenes, but josh was around wuite a bit.
