Yes, this movie will be shot in Calgary. Shooting begings on the 19th of june... i know this because I am in it.....

shareI kow that they were shooting today(July 2) at the old city hall. my mom was working on it.

They just shot a scene in my area. We had taken my son out to the park when he saw Samuel L Jackson, it terrified the bejesus out of him. I must say for the hype about celebrities they really are just regular people doing their job. Samuel was polite, considerate and he didn't seem to mind that my two year old kept wanting to see the "big trucks". He didn't even mind it when his kids and my kid played together. I honestly didn't know what to expect but that was above and beyond it. It will make a great story to tell my kid when he grows up. Even the cast and the crew were awesome! They made a great first impression and I know in our neighborhood they will be welcomed back anytime. I can see on the other hand how they could get tired of being harrassed. He makes great films, is a good actor and he's not a snob. I hope that he gets a good impression of the people of Calgary because we really are a good city with good people.

Are they shooting in downtown? I live in Calgary and I want to see them shoot this.

shareIt was a small kids park right beside Confederation golf course. I live on 15th st NW so it is almost like a collection of small cul-de-sacs in a very private area that has a golf course along one entire side for the whole neighborhood.

I saw them shooting at the mustard seed last night so i stood around for a while, kathryn morris showed up and was very nice, she posed for a picture and signed an autograph for me, the josh hartnett came out of his trailor and posed for a picture and signed an autograph as well. I also met samuel L jackson he was reluctant to sign an autograph but he still signed one none-the-less but wouldnt pose for a picture because he was still in his costume. It was sure exciting being able to talk to them, i cant wait to see the movie and try to recognize parts of the city.

Well I know last night (July 11th) they were shooting near 1217 - 1 St SW (The Castle Pub) I go there every Tuesday and they were there yesterday and two weeks ago too.
shareThey are shooting at Melrose Cafe and bar for the next two days, as well as across the street from my work at 13th Av SE and McLeod Trail. they are setting it all up today, huge site!

shareThey took down the tents and trailers at McLeod and 13th Av SE this morning. I think they must have done filming last night, because the food guy was cooking up stuff when I left work. I am not sure, but I think they might be leaving, I know some of them are already done because I know someone connected with the set.
