What?! This was a beautiful little film!!

Samuel Jackson's the Champ! And Josh Hartnett's not bad himself.

OK, honestly, it's an un-even film. And I think the director add's mush where it's not necessary; the score is so 'Hallmark.'

But, really, I can't see how anyone can watch this and not feel anything.

Afterall, WTF is The BlindSide anyway?!

There is an honesty at the heart of this film that is irresistable. In the Acting, in the camera work, in the story-telling.

It's a quiet film and the plot weaves by on seemingly whimsical points along the way...like a gentle breeze...and turbulence in the under-current.

Josh and Samuel are perfectly matched, and though the film doesn't let us in on the other characters enough,

Ressurecting the champ is a film for people who like to feel, and don't mind emotion.

Everyone pays a price. "Sometimes I wake up and think that I'm dead."

And let me tell you something again. If you're in acting school, watch this film and these actors. The performances are solid. More important than that, they're apparant.
