I don't think so. I think that this movie can be nice romantic-comedy production, with great actor - David Boreanaz.

It sound like a good movie, but just like the new movie with Will Smith, you know, "Hitch."

Yeah, it plays more like a TV knock-off of "Hitch" for the older generation than an original movie.

You know I think its a good thing that Boreanaz doesn't read these postings....

Otherwise, I think he might be a little irritated to see that someone who claims to be a fan would question his judgement...........

I do seem to think that people in general know what's best for them, and the only way to break onto the big screen is to try and try again.............

After all, look at all the crappy, sappy movies that names like Nicole Kidman, Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Jennifer Anniston, Ben Affleck, Ben Stiller, Will Ferrell and others have made....Guess what???? They are still making movies!!!!

I think that if Nicole Kidman can play a young widow who falls in love with a 10-year-old boy she believes is the reincarnation of her dead husband, and she is still going strong, that Boreanaz who is just trying to make it on screen will survive one or two bad films if they are truly bad???? AFTER they come out and we see them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's a thought!!!! Why don't we wait until we see them to pass judgement????
What a novel idea............

He is a guy who has a young family, trying to do whats best for them, and make his dreams (I am sure) come true.........

My personal opinion is that he can be a great actor, but he hasn't truly been given a chance to prove himself, and if he does he will be another Carey Grant, Tom Cruise, or Brad Pitt............It's very hard for someone who has only been in television to break onto the big screen because in my opinion no one takes them seriously yet.......But both are opinions and if he proves that he is a made for television actor, well, I'll watch TV!!! If he proves to be a talented actor on screen and/or stage well I'll got to the theater!!!!!!

Either way I'll still support him as a fan and not piss and moan about his choices.

What!he has a family?!he's married!?Im too late.lol.
But really when did this happened and who's his wife?An unknown or the other?

reply

Ayocarinc, in answer to your question, he's been married twice. The first time was to an unknown (Ingrid something-or-other). The second (and current) time is to an actress named Jaime Bergman. She hasn't been in much, but I do remember that she was in a so-trashy-and-offensive-it-was-kind-of-good "Baywatch" spoof called "Son of the Beach" which was produced by Howard Stern's production company, if that tells you anything about the show. They've been married for years -- since 2000 or 2001 or something. I know they've got at least one kid.

He needs to stop making these flops. He will never make it big if he dosent.

This movie is also long and boring!

I have to agree with the original poster's comments. I saw this movie and it was OK. Not bad I guess for a straight to DVD. It was enjoyable for a Sunday evening at home, but David is so much better than this. I'm a huge fan of ANgel and Bones, and he is fantastic in both. I would really like to see him in a movie that actually takes some skill. The only other movie I have seen him in is Valentine, and that was absolutely awful. While he has supberb taste in television shows, his choice of movies leaves a lot to be desired.

reply

Well im almost agree but the movie ok? i think this is the type of movie that u see when u dont have anything to do. BTW i also saw it because im a big fan of Angel. this movie at the start was decent but after the 45min or so it was horrible

I really, really like David. He shows his acting skills on Bones every show. But I agree that his choice of movie roles does nothing to showcase his ability. I believe that it's because of his agent. Actors don't tend to find out about, look for or otherwise pursue their own roles. That's their agents job. And if these are the roles being presented to him, he needs a new agent. He's shown too much acting ability to settle for straight to DVD movies. It's a shame.

This guy did Soulkeeper, one of the coolest low-budget sci-fi action-comedies ever made, in fact a lesson about how to make the most of your limited budget AND create an enjoyable and original flick.

As far as I'm concerned this movie will be a winner. A bit surprised that DB doesn't go for higher-profile pictures, though.

I watched this last night. and I think its a great movie. I don't think any of us can question his choice on films he picks. i mean, hello! He is doing it at least! And if you watch the movie, you could tell that he was enjoying himself. If you watch his movies, tv shows, etc, you can tell that he actually enjoys making the films. I think that is what he looks for is a good story, and something he could have fun playing...
