I Thought This Movie Played Really Well

If this was a TV movie I really enjoyed it. It did not look at all like it was filmed in the back lot of a studio California foothills. Emotionally I bought the style and way that it flowed. The acting seemed stellar to me right from the start. The vistas and panoramas were amazing on my home screen. I don't know anything about the history, but If this is from the only source of Genghis Khan's "youth" as was suggested, I'm happy to go with it.

It's less than a century ago this took place. Fast forward the war part and it was interesting plot wise. There aren't too many woman on screen like Börte. This is a really good movie for the right people.
