U.S. TV?

Has this ever aired on U.S. TV? CBC showed it in Canada but I have seen similar documentaries about Bush on there before that I doubt were ever on American television (BBC made a good one about Bush's military service - 60 minutes should have just used that instead of making fools of themselves). It might be considered a little biased - but I just think it does ask the questions that the pathetic U.S. media has failed to pursue (excluding John Stewart of course).
Besides it might be a wake-up call for you Americans to see what the world knows - as in the truth about Iraq - instead of the bizarre "we're right your wrong" attitude that the current government has. Just as an example watch the interview with Hans Blix in this film, who was portrayed as an idiot for not finding WMDs. Now, why don't they give the same treatment to American inspectors?
Don't worry, it's not a Moore film, you do get both sides. Powell and Perle and some others defend Bush's actions, although they look rather coniving and evil in comparison to the other evidence presented in this movie.

I seriously doubt any American could see this film without having to watch it on CBC or BBC. It's really a shame but not at all suprising. The US media and airwaves are government regulated to the tilt. I do suspect that this film will be very popular among Americans when Bush is no longer in office and Americans gradually become aware of it's existance.

lol............Americans have access to a doc like this???!! Yah right.

Seems that only Canadians are aware of it. It's screening at the Old Forum theater in Montreal, I was going to go see it last weekend but couldn't make it but I hear it aired on CBC Newsworld last weekend and they are repeating it this Firday. Can't wait to see it.

It won't be on american tv because the movie is subtitle, so the audience who could comprehend what's going on would be drasticly reduce.

Excellent documentary!!! Finally got to see it last night on The Passionate Eye.

Most of the material was known to me, but there were a few facts that I was unaware of.

How the hell is this administration on the verge of being re-elected???? I am simply dumbfounded.

BTW, where are the Americans in this forum??? lol

Oh right, they have "free speech".

Hey there friend,
Americans still care, and they do watch and pay attention to documentaries like this and the other great works of reason and expose that have come out lately. I agree with you that we do have a very large number of people who have been (mentally) violently attacked by the new more radical faction of the horrible right. I would also say that the functionality of our model of classic liberalism is crumbling under the new capital and media regimes.

But please remember that at least initially, more of us did not vote for Bush. I live in Illinois and so many good people here are working very hard to maintain populism and strong democratic principles. We are still awake here, and we continue to fight one of the biggest agents of terrorism that has infested our Federal system: The Governor of America, George W. Bush.

This election may be different, and "the people" may elect Bush by the popular vote.... and if that happens I will have to make a choice to ex-patriate or remain here and fight harder against this chicanery. But please, despite the actions of the country as a whole, give the intelligent and enlightened portion of the population, (most of the democrats, our smattering of disenfranchised but committed independents like myself, and even some of the more astute republicans who will not be voting for the Killer on this our election day) the benefit of the doubt. We do value international opinion and sometimes hold some of your media as the last frontier for mostly objective and hopefully constructive criticism. We do still have free speech by the way... the press however, has a pricetag. Bless the internet for the new freedom to bypass pricetags and lack of content so America can still have access to the right to be informed.

In closing, if the worst does happen today, I apologize to any of you or anybody who will be touched by the byproduct of American devolution in the next 4 years. Some of us still weep and prostrate for the world. Some of us still fight the just fight within America.

All these comments about the doc and look at all they came up with in response.

Serialsix, any comments such as, "brainwashed Americans" are not targeted towards people that think like you. They are intended for a certain 59 million people that cast ballots on this past tuesday night.

Don't be offended, I know there are plenty of Americans who are aware of what is going on. I just wish that docs such as this one were more widely available in your country.

Go the link I posted above if you have time to discuss politics with the other side.

Cheers

anyway, i have tried to get comments on this film from republicans in other forums. I posted a link to a stream but it is impossible to get people to watch it (but still they say it's only propaganda).
