Amanda Peet was so great in this but...

she definitely had too little time on screen. Yeah, I know she had only a supporting role, but still, a few more scenes with her would make this movie more like a 'family' film, which - I think - would be good for the plot. I mean her character was so adorable, lovely with a thorough understanding of things that she should have a bigger 'share' in telling of the story. Not to mention how beautiful she is. For me this is the main flaw of this movie, other aspects are good enough to call this movie a good one. I guess, watching this film will improve or expand your ability to understand children in general. Whether you're a parent or not.
