why does berethor look different in the screen shots

and he has a spear, and its like not even him.

I think you are mixing Berethor and Eaoden up - they are both "normal" humans, and look a bit the same, but Berethor is from Gondor and Eaoden is from Rohan.

I agree, however that screen shot is clearly Berethor because of the time frame of the game and the armor. I wonder if there is a PC version that could be modified, but still when you're in Moria there aren't any spears to be found.

yeah, i know the difference between the two.

but here in moria, berethor has like a different...everything

Maybe it was a prototype or soemthing that wasn't inserted into the final game.

or maybe, the screenshot was taken when they went back to moria with eaoden.

Originally, Berethor was going to be a horse rider with a spear. Obviously that changed in the final game.
