Final Battle

Me and my roommate are having trouble beating the dark lord. He keeps using his fear move to stun and it keeps screwing us over. Also acouple of the levels say we havn't beaten them fully. Is their anyway we can go back and beat them to get more stuff and stats. We resave so it's not like it's on a seperate thing to go back to so is there anyway to go back and finish it.

For Sauron a brilliant thing to use is the morgul decay because this removes his armour and he will die quicker. Cast Idrial's Auora (sp?) of the Valar to keep everybody alive. Using Berethor's and Eoden's three strike attacks give more damage to him. I can't remember but I think the Stand Fast leadership power might protect against the fear... sorry, but i can't remember for sure (bad memory!)

As for going back to complete quests, you can do it. Save your game and then it will pop up saying "resume game" or "travel". By selecting travel you can select a previous level to go back to. By doing this I managed to get 100% on Minas Tirith so you can complete the quests.

The only problem i had was that at helms deep i didn't get helm's hammer and i can't travel back to get that. If i go to helms deep, its during the battle.

Hope some of that helps

I always use Idrial, Berethor, Hadhod or Elegost. Not too much with the others.

clumsyjonny is right. Idrial can bring them to life and do autorevives, Berethor attacks best, Hadhod has that wicked mountain shield and elegost is more useful than morwen although eaoden helps a lot too.

All Idrial should do is cast Aura of Valar on herself and the others. Hadod's Cleaving wound and Flames of Ruin and Morwen's poisoned Blades and Twin Wounds all deal damage over many rounds, which helps if your characters are crippled by fear. Elegost has Paralyzing or Crippling arrows (Not sure if these work)to slow down Sauron. Always use Morgul Decay to completely remove his armor.

Merry Christmas ya filthy animal.
