I know it was supposed to be Alice having sex with the old man. But what Alain saw was just too much. That scene where she come over the old man and he grab her ass... That was it! I don't care if she is possessed or not. How would I know for sure? Impossible... I would spend my money on hookers and alcohol, and I'd rant my story to a barman.

Well, Alain confessed that only Benedicte's possibly discovering his unfaithfulness stopped him sleeping with Alice. So, he knows that despite his own raging over her "faithlessness" he cannot follow the jealous line too far without being a hypocrite. I guess one can say that Alain grows into love in the film, something his boss was incapable of.

So, he has that advantage on you, honest poster.
