Quite a simple film

I dont believe that alice possessed benedicte...
1. Why is it so strange that benedicte started talking like alice when trying to get the truth out of alain....Alice could have told her everything that happened in exact details n when her husband reaches to the " can u hear my heart beat so hard" n lie about their distance, she corroborates the version given by alice.
2. Richard would have told her about alains seduction n his fall to temptation to benedicte when he was in hospital, n got all her sympathies n would have seen that benedict would fall for a revenge n he would get his lust.
3.The dream about the flood of lemmings in the kitchen is actually a dream n is not so strange a nightmare, is it?
4. When alain sees alice/benedict turn into one, its also his imagination n he does remember that alice wanted to make richard croak, and knowing what a lying whoring bastard that guy he is, its his mind that gets rid of his guilt before taking the step to kill him.
5.Alice taunts benedict many times that even her supposedly romantic life can turn upside down if she sees some bitter truths in it, it shall go sour. And when she does come to know about alains fall for temptation, she does realise that what alice said was true.
6.The picture at richards house, could be that of a young alice looking very similar to benedict.
7.Benedict is definetly affected by all this, and so she behaves like alice after sleeping in her suicide room, but its not so convincing.
8.Another angle could be that benedict was a whore whom richard had taken to the mountains once, but i think its too far fetched n lost highway kinda stuff.

Overall not a very satisfying film, tries to be like lynch but fails due to benedicts charachter.
