Great Acting All Around

I was impressed by the overall good acting of all of the characters. The professionalism of the actors really elevated what could have been another cheesy low budget independent film.

I was particularly impressed with two actors.

Chad Donella as Chris Boyd. His intense, unspoken anger and sadness of his repressed little body was tangible. He held himself so rigid, I thought he was going to burst into a dozen pieces. Chris was so hated but sympathetic too. Considering the bigoted, closed minded environment he grew up in, how else was he supposed to turn out?

Lin Shaye as Kathleen Slansky. She reminds me of many tough as nails women I've known growing up. Life knocked her around a bit but she's not going to be anyones sucker any more. Trey's mother Barbara was similar.

The soundtrack by Ebony Tay was so perfect for the movie too.

No two persons ever watch the same movie.
