This is the first time in a long while I've watched a movie and someone's acting was so bad that it made me feel like I was watching someone try to act rather than watching a movie. Completely ruined any chance of trying to watch this movie and take it seriously. The funny thing is that when she really bears down on a saying a line, she just sounds and talks exactly like on law and order.
Not to mention the cheesy tv music used throughout.

I totally agree.
Lots of "actors" are merely likeable people on screen; they have screen presence, and we like them; they can't act for beans, but we like them. In my opinion, she's in that category. That doesn't mean that we don't watch, it just means they're likeable.

And awards don't matter...they are given to actors who can't act by other actors who can't act.

Colleen Camp..Robert DeNiro..Tilda Swinton..Tom Hanks...and then some.

...and not only that, Harmon's voice wasn't SMOKY LIKE USUAL. I always wondered if that was a fake voice or not, you know, like Kathleen Turner said that you could put erasers in your mouth and let your back teeth hold them while you talked, and it would teach you to have a smoky voice...people have claimed that is what Demi Moore and Angie Harmon do. I don't know about that, but I set out to try the eraser thing, and it didn't work for me.
...or she used a fake high voice in this movie.
