Why was this banned in Ireland?

Ok, I haven't watched this film but I've heard it was banned in Ireland for a suicide scene and I'm just wondering am I missing something because that doesn't seem awfully taboo for IFCO's standards, barely anything(non-pornographic) gets banned anymore, surely hangings have been approved without a bother by them before? I know lots of people find the film disturbing but they had no problem approving the saw films. Can anyone clear this up for me and tell me what it was that got this film it's initial banned status?
