Did Szeto Bo have glaucoma?

i noticed his contant fumling around expessialy toward the end. the numerous doctors card he gave to tony. and his need to have tony he lead him to the last fight.kongs blindfold?

reply

Yes, he went blind because he had glaucoma. That is why he was so upset when he found out Tony lied about it, since he actually had it. The moment he loses his sight is when he is playing with the lights. He's watching them flicker on and off, then he goes blind, so he stops.

For addition, Szeto Bo gave up Judo because he realized that he had glaucoma and going to be blind sooner or later.

Actually, having watched it two times already, i now realize it that he went blind, after reading this topic. :) I don't know if i watched it with wrong subtitles, but i don't remember anything of Szeto Bo telling about going blind. You guys must be so genius or i must be very dumb. :) I checked some scenes of the film and now i figured out that, Szeto Bo gives the cards to Tony because he has glaucoma too, he then gets angry with him for his lies and at the end he even gets blind. I watched the film twice without knowing he was blind(i was blind i think:)). Neither did my sister i showed her the film. Anyway i'm not alone:). Good film after all.

If you dont mind, please change the subject header to take out the spoiler. The movie is built up to reveal this fact in the finale, so let's not spoil it for the ones who haven't seen it yet. Throwdown is one of the best movies I have seen.

Also, it explains why in the end, Kong fought with a blinfold on, to make it even.
