i think keira knightly is really wooden as an actress
and i agree the acting in tom browns was really wonderful a real ensemble cast and not a weak actor in it

i did mean teenagers. not children. sure rape and stuff aren't suitable for children, but when you were twelve did you not know about rape? this stuff happens all the time nowadays, so lots of 11 and 12 year olds know all about it anyway, and maybe some 10 year olds i guess.

Tom Browns had no real mega movie stars no big budget and was trully amazing

The book is a masterpiece... the show is beautiful, perfectly written, cast and acted. It made me cry. And Flashman is damned gorgeous. *runs off to read the book again*

'The book is a masterpiece'???? Give me a break! it was so slow i stopped reading it. I mean Thomas Hughes spends 2 pages describing the hill that they are going past in a carridge. BOOOOOOOOOOORRRING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I find it rather hard to watch a film and see Keira as the character now, I just end up commenting on stuff like "Oh, I like her dress." rather than having my eyes glued to the screen. The first time I watched Tom Brown's Schooldays I didn't really enjoy it. but the second time round, I think it was one of the best things I ever saw!
