Can someone help me transcribe the exact dialog between Julie and Mia when Mia comes to Julie flat to apologize (I’m a non-American viewer and the DVD came unfortunately without any subtitles).
What I (don’t) understand:
Julie: What are you doing here?
Mia: Before you throw me out, please, please just let me explain. That reporter has been (?ing) me for months
He’s… there’s…I was just trying to keep them away from you
J: Because you’re ashamed of me?
M: Julie, this is very important to me…You’re so different from everybody…And I just wanted to keep you to myself a little longer.
I know I’ve handled badly
J: Yeah you did. And maybe I’m no glamorous or exiting or famous. But I don’t deserve to be treating like that. And I’m definitely not interesting in been one of your …pets!
M.: Well I just …I just wanted you to know that I’m sorry
(Mia is taking her things on the floor in order to leave)
J.: What is that?
M.: It’s Gouda, it’s cheese
J.: I know what Gouda is. But why do you have a bag of it?
M.: I went to the Bodega on the corner to (take?) you some flowers but they were out. Everything else was closed …
J.: So, so you got me Gouda?
M.: It’s all that they had. It’s all flavors: mild and sharp and (??).
