Unrealistic final scene

When Robert takes Ana with him for the drink at his house Daniel is annoyed.

When Daniel and Marta arrive at Robert's house, Robert is annoyed when he sees Ana dancing with Robert.

After the 'beach trip' Robert is clearly angry at Ana (English subtitles: 'I’m devastated’). At this point in time he only suspects 'something' happened because of the unlikely explanation for the time Ana and Robert disappeared and maybe her strange behaviour.

After the story at the garage he is relieved but the content of the parcel finally opens his eyes. He then knows for sure (the band) that 'something' happened at Robert's house. One would then expect rage because he now knows for sure that Ana cheated on him in some way and has consistently lied about it. As a final confirmation Ana starts crying.

And what does he do? He consoles/implicitly forgives her by placing his hand on hers at the gear shift!

This man is too good for the real world. He should be thinking about the upcoming divorce from a wife he will never be able to trust again!
