Is this a prequel to Noah?
For those who have seen both the seed right at the end makes me think it may be a prequel or it fits into this timeline somehow.
sharethey're close spiritually for sure, and i guess you could say that they share the same "magic" or "mythology" as each other,
like a connected cinematic universe (a drop of liquid immediately producing a plant, something that occurs in both films as an "act of god", for example). are they DIRECTLY connected? Aronofsky will have to chime in on that, it's his cinematic universe he's building anyhow (like any other interesting director). for now it seems up to the viewer, even though they do work wonderfully back to back.
It can't be a Noah prequel.But they share loads of themes,the two of them. I can describe Noah as The Fountain's cousin.They are completely amazing films. I think Aronofsky's best work to date. Two of my favorites.
