I have developed a keen interest in astronomy since watching this film

I would first like to say that I adore The Fountain and it is criminally underrated in my opinion. It is one of my favourites. The Fountain really provoked a deep interest of astronomy in me. I don't know how to fully explain it. Maybe it was the scene where Izzi was looking through the telescope at the Orion constellation that sparked something in me or maybe it was something else. Its funny how a film can help you develop an interest in something.

I agree that the Fountain is criminally underrated. I understand how it could inspire an interest in astronomy. The scenes of the bubble floating thru space were breath taking. Especially in the theater! This was one movie that seen in the theater left me moved in a way I still can't explain...
