Ashley and Ashlynn funerals together?

Weird how their funeral was together, no?

reply

I thought the same exact thing as I watched it last night (7/23/15)

reply

Right? It's not like they were from the same family.

reply

They were going to be twin sisters originally, but they were changed to best friends. However, it's possible that Jim and Glen thought that we'd assume that their families felt that they should have a joint funeral, as they were so close with each other?

I saw this yesterday just as they were dying, and it cut to the scene from the tanning beds straight to the two caskets and I thought automatically, how can they have their funerals together. I would assume it was bc they were as close sisters would be so their families probably would think its best? Idk still weird. The again its a movie...

Everyone sees what you appear to be, few experience what you really are.

Close friends and convenient since they both died at the same time. Why not just have one funeral for both? All their family and friends can go to the funeral at the same time rather one in the morning and one later in the afternoon. It saves fuel for everyone. They probably saved the cost of buying caskets by transporting the two directly with their fried tanning beds. Convenient and cost effective funeral ever.

Haha you're so stupid but funny lol

reply

Probably because they were best friends and so close. Plus, they died the same day, at the same time, and the same way.

It's not like that's the LEAST plausible thing in this movie though. I just thought it was intended to be kind of a satirical, humorous element like the similar scene in "Heathers" years back.

It's an example of style over substance. It's a nice transition shot from the tanning beds to the coffins, and it looks good. But as many of you pointed out, when you think about it it doesn't make sense. They should've left them as twins, then it would've looked good AND made sense.

I thought it was rather crude to have a plank connecting both coffins.
