Kevin and Wendy come up with the 'Seating Order' from nowhere.

Kevin tells Wendy about Flight 180, and how everyone died in the order they should have died (though it makes no sense how he'd know that they died in order, to me) and then later, they suddenly start talking about how it was about how where they were sitting that determined what order they died in.

As much as I hate to admit it, the "Order of Seating" may be correct - Frankie falls before one of the Ashes, I think (though in the book, it's apparently based on death, not seating). Though I really don't know why the writers suddenly made it about where everone was sitting, and not when the died.

The point is, Kevin talked about the previous victims dying in order of death, not seating, so how come he and Wendy suddenly come to the conclusion everyone dies in order of seating?

It's possible he didn't die the moment he hit the ground, or that the Ashes hit the ground first. It was order of death, not seating.

IDK where that conclusion came from either.

Good point, in fact that's apparently how the book explains some of the deaths, I can't remember what it says about Frankie, but it does use the "didn't die instantly" explaination as a sort of twist that reveals that Ian wasn't actually skipped when Wendy saved him, and had actually died after Wendy in the premonition, as he didn't die instantly from the fall though I don't know how they handle it as I haven't read it.

I hope so, it being seating never made any sense to me (I mean, why would Death care about that?)

I don't see why they'd even throw that in? Ian being skipped wasn't a plothole in the first place and it just makes absolutely no sense to suddenly change it like that Also, I was talking split seconds. Ian would've lasted 30 seconds to another minute before dying, which IS ridiculous

It wouldn't. IDK why that was thrown in

It just so happened the characters died in the order they were sitting. Since the other characters knew the seating order but didn't see the vision, it was probably more convenient for Wendy to just refer to the seating order.
