This film has had awful reviews. Is it really that bad?

Has anyone actually seen it? I can't find any cinema that's showing it. Is it as bad as every review is saying? I would like to judge it for myself as I'm a Red Dwarf/Craig Charles fan and am curious to see Michael Angelis in anything other than Thomas the Tank Engine, my son's current (8-hours-a-day) obsession

It's been described as "a dull lifeless film" "like watching your little brother's sixth form play" "every aspect screams amateur" and just "shambolic", although Craig hasn't come off too badly in most reviews

Probably the harshest but funniest review comes from SFX magazine, rounded up on the website below describing the film as a "puppy who's just done a poo in your favourite pair of trainers"

This site also has a very funny comment about the official movie website.

Has anyone actually seen it? I live in Slough, if anyone's seen it listed nearby could you post back here.

I would love to say its a great film, worth waiting in line and paying money for, but its not, Tv yes, the big screen no, if you saw it on Chan four or bbc2 it would not look out of place, but to pay for it no.

whats wrong with it you ask, well everyone worked very hard on it, but when push came to shove it was a weak story, and the acting was well, ok nothing more, and the extra scenes they added after the main shoot was well poor.

in short wait to see it free.

In defence of this i can't help but say a review is alas one persons opinion, and don't get me wrong but lots of people have lots of different opinions! For anyone who likes to make their own mind up about films Fated is actually being screened in Liverpool commencing on December 8th, (where some cast members are going to be present), before being shown at other cinemas nationwide. (Unfortunately i can't list them all)
Should anyone want further information about Fated the best people too ask are the produciton company, you can contact us on [email protected].

Hi-- I have just returned from a film festival in Monte Carlos Monaco. This film was in it and won two Angel Awards. It was a plus for me because I am a massive Craig Fan. For the record I thought it was Ab Fab, apart from Brendan makey, who was just a wimp, liked the draggies as well.
