MUTE!!??

"Deaf" is the correct term. Please take "mute" out of it. Deaf people are disgusted with us hearing people as it is... *beep* backward!

"Mute" refers to someone who does not speak. It has nothing to do with deafness.

Maybe if you had actually paid attention during the movie, you would know she actually is mute. They just think she's deaf. She can hear.
