Title change?

'Banlieue 13' translated into English is 'District 13' which is the title on region 2. So why is it called 'District B13' in the USA? It makes no sense to me.

Probably to explain why the code for the bomb is 9293709B13 and not 9293709D13.

I'm convinced that when I first saw this, at a cinema in England when it'd just come out, it was called 'District B13'. My DVD copy is called 'District 13', which I've often told people makes no sense due to the bomb code. (I've only ever watched it in French with English subtitles; 'Damien' clearly says 'B' not 'D', etc.) Watched it again last night and, for the first time, noticed that the keypad doesn't even *have* a 'D' on it!
