Well the BBC re-comissioned the Crouches and that's bloody awful so The Smoking Room should definately be back. The Christmas special was a good sign, they don't normally give a show a Christmas special is they're about to drop it.

I met Robert Webb (Robin) the other week and asked him about a second series.
YES, there WILL be a second series, on BBC3, possibly repeated on BBC2. They start filming in May.
RE. DVD releases, this is where you guys come in, the BBC need to know there is the demand, so email, write, and tell your mates to do the same and the more interest there is (both from BBC3 and BBC2 viewers) the more likely it will be released.
In the meantime enjoy the repeats on saturdays, I know I am!
