Robert Webb in Peep Show mode

I'm pretty late on this, but I'm about halfway through the second season and Robert Webb's character Robin has been eerily reminiscent of his Jeremy in Peep Show. All the mannerisms, facial expressions, the start-stop sentences... What's funny to me is that it definitely seems like a season 2 thing, I didn't make the same observation while watching the first season. Anyone else notice this?
