whoa, season 2 episode 1 is an 18

just checked amazon then checked bbfc. the one where Janet's son does a psychological study is an 18. Why? Anyone shed any light on that? Not more strong language and sex references than any other episode.

reply

yes i wondered that too. i thought it would only be a 12 or 15, but 18? it's a bit much :(

How did this get that rating? i was just checking to see if it was true, since play listed it as 18 and i thought it was weird, the first series was listed as a 12 :D
It's a bit much, i've seen so much worse in 15s, Clerks and Clerks II are much worse and are both 15s, how rare.

If you wished "The Sound of Music" was really called "Snakes on a Plane" You'll love this film!

reply

it would have been because of clints story about dirty goigs on in the park

reply

oh yeah, then Clint just says "I'm glad I didn't give him any money"

reply

I think it might be because Len is seen sniffing glue in the first episode... That is the only thing I can think of that might make the series an 18 overall.

I recently saw this and wondered why on earth the episode was classified as 18, which (in the case of the DVD set) was upwardly inherited by the disc, then the Series 2 case, then the whole boxed set!

As posted already above, the BBFC site simply says 'Contains strong language and sexual references', but it didn't seem any more so than any other episode, so I imagine it was probably also due to the glue sniffing... but why wouldn't the BBFC just come out and say that? Doesn't really makes sense.
