I had a feeling they were going to end up seperating because they haven't done any projects and with Maite working its even worse.. :(
shareI think it was clear since day one. pop groups don't last specially when they are fabricated. These days people don't like to be tied up with long contracts. I'm sure they signed a contract for a certain amount of years and then they were going to separate. People in the business like to continue to be doing new things and moving on. The viewers like to see new things as well. The entertainment world has new talents and "it" entertainers every day, so it was only a matter of time till they were kicked out of their "it" throne and someone else would take over. It's rather sad because it's such a hard business and the life expectancy of surviving in the business doing the same thing is very short.
The one thing that we do gotta remember is that they enjoyed it. They had their "it" era and they sure earned their cash. It's funny how these entertainers tend to make millions and yet continue to work. That shows how much they really like their jobs. Personally if I were in a job and got to hear at least 1 million dollars in a year, I would have for sure taken like 5 years of a break and lived comfortably in a middle class life style. But I guess they honestly love what they do and want to keep on getting better.
